Artificial Island Construction
(Sheet Pile Island): The walls of the artificial island are surrounded by a barrier consisting of piles (ArselorMittal HZ880/Az 26-700 or Larssen5). The front and rear anchor rows made of dowels are connected to each other with steel anchors. In the forward row of piles, the piles are connected from above with a reinforced concrete head, which both gives strength to the structure and also allows the installation of fenders and other harbor equipment.
The pile barrier protects the artificial island from external influences during the entire operation period and allows the filling materials to be molded to increase the load-bearing capacity of the floor.
In this option, sea sand, limestone, gravel or gravel can be used as filling material. In order to obtain the required shape, the filling material is molded and poured layer by layer during construction.

Access Road Construction
(Elevated Access Road): The access road is in the form of a trestle consisting of a reinforced concrete slab built on steel piles. The stability of the trestle in the longitudinal and transverse direction is ensured by diagonal piles driven at certain distances. The diameter of the steel piles is D530mm. The steel piles are connected to each other by steel tubes with a diameter of D168mm. The monolithic connection of the piles with the floor of the trestle is carried out by means of reinforced concrete plugs created inside the pipe piles.



Artificial Island (Caged Island): D=530x12mm steel piles were used in the construction of the protective barrier along the perimeter. In order to protect the filling materials from spilling, mesh-shaped sheets made by welding steel pipes were used. When the filling material is filled, between the front face row and the back anchor row, larger fractional material is filled so that it does not come out of the mesh.
In this version, the piles of the front wall are connected with a reinforced concrete head. Reinforced concrete fishing vessel approach allows installation of fenders and other harbor equipment.
The advantage of this option is that it is relatively cheap to build. The structure looks like a cage made of steel piles and steel grids. For this reason, this structure is called a lattice structure. One of the advantages of the construction is that it can better absorb the energy of sea waves. Due to the fact that the front face of the structure is waterproof, sea waves dissipate their energy inside the wall when they encounter the wall.
Fencing Grid Shield
Large-fraction limestones are used in the cracks, and small-fraction limestones, sea sand, gravel and gravel are used in the middle part as filling material.

Access road (Caged Access Road): The access road is in the form of filler material filled inside the cage consisting of steel piles, pipe nets, and anchor rods.


Large fractional limestones are used as filling material in the cracks, and small fractional limestones, sea sand, gravel and silt are used in the middle part. Steel cage filler greatly reduces material consumption by creating stability of the material. After the filling material is molded, the upper area (road) made of reinforced concrete is built.
(Concrete Caissons foundation)
Creating an artificial island from floating Ferro-Concrete caissons is one of the optimal options. To create the intended island, 10 20x10x8m and 4 15x10x8m reinforced concrete caissons are being prepared on the coast. The caissons are submerged in water after being transported to the area where the artificial island will be created. The caissons are connected to each other by means of special locks in the case of the project. After the caissons are placed around the perimeter, they are filled with filling materials. Limestone, sea sand, gravel and gravel can be used as filling material.
